Step 1
Get ready to learn how to draw a giraffe, set white painting paper and permanent black marks. First form the outline of the giraffe head. Toward the center of the top of the paper, draw a semicircle and finally make the beak-shaped shape with a smaller lips below. Then keep moving forward.

Step 2
In the second step of how to draw a giraffe, we will add some details. Draw a small line inside the beak-shaped nose. Eyelashes stretch out from the upper half of the face. You also need to add most shaded oval eyes, without two small white sections.

Step 3
Now it’s time to add more details to our giraffe friend’s head! Add ears above the eyelashes drawn in the previous step. Then, at the top of the head, draw two shapes that resemble corners. Fun Vocabulary Lesson: Those corner-like parts are actually called Ossicones!

Step 4
Are you happy to learn how to draw a giraffe? Of course we are! Let’s end the head by drawing a small line after the second osteocartilage attached to the larger ear. The ears drawn in this step are at the forefront, so the ears drawn are in the background and therefore larger. Finally, add a small vertical line below the ear, leaving a small space between that and the bottom of the giraffe’s head.

Step 5
We obviously cannot forget the long and beautiful neck of the long giraffe characteristics. The beginning of the neck lined below the eyes. Start drawing lines on your face and make sure to give it some good length! Start the right side of the neck below the forefront ear. You want it to be a little shorter than the other side of your neck. Finally, add the top of the body, the ends of the neck. The side on the right will be slightly curved, while the left side will only have a slight curve to be straighter.

Step 6
Now, we are ready to add to the body of the giraffe. On the left, we will add a small bump into the vertical line pointing inward. On the right, add a short horizontal line that extends downward and eventually forms a C-shaped shape.

Step 7
We are now ready to start forming legs. Make a right-leaning V shape in the middle of the giraffe’s body so that the legs begin to form. Now, we are also ready to add some fur to the head and back of the giraffe. Mask the black fur with a zigzag pattern.

Step 8
You can’t learn how to draw a giraffe without learning how to draw those long, elegant legs! We will draw the front legs from the already drawn body. Draw the top of the leg with a round knee in the middle. After the knee is pulled to the knee, draw the bottom of the leg, ending with a slanted line pointing to the left on both sides. Finally, add a triangle hoof in the shadow.

Step 9
Let’s add a few more legs! We will add a hind leg. The curved lines of the V-shaped shape that we formed in the center of our body before came out of that V-shaped shape. Then, draw a straight leg with a straight leg the same way as the front leg – two short sloping lines with triangular hoofs. The highest legs in the front and back fall off from the body part on the left side of the leg. Repeat the same shape as we have used for the frontmost leg.

Step 10
Our giraffe friends absolutely need a tail! Add a tiny tail that falls from the back of the body. Then draw and shadow a tuft of fur at the bottom of the tail. You also need to draw the last stop. Draw a curve in the middle and turn it from the middle to a straight line. The lower half of the imitation legs is the same as all other shapes. Don’t forget that cute little hoof!

Step 11
Now is the fun part! You can definitely add some personality to your giraffe by the size and location of its spots!
