How to watch Google I/O 2025 and Android Show

Google’s annual I/O Developers Conference will be held on May 20, two major events you need to watch to keep the company updated all the software platform. I/O 2025 will start on May 20, and a week ago, there is also the Android Show: I/O Edition, a dedicated display of the Android ecosystem.

Android Show: I/O Edition will air on May 13 at 1pm/10pm. Some of Android’s development is in public, so there are already some signs of what Android 16 might bring. So far, this is a visual redesign of some of the core features of the operating system, such as Notification Shade, which is Apple’s real-time activity that can track ongoing events and possibly Samsung Dex’s “Desktop Mode” similar to Samsung Dex’s “Desktop Mode”.

I/O 2025 will be held on May 20 at 1pm ET/10pm ET, with its keynote, usually a series of updates to Android, Search, Google Workspace and Gemini. It’s worth noting: Google doesn’t usually provide a separate time for Android announcements. The company said there will be some Android news in I/O, but the safe bet is that Gemini will be a star. We hope Google shares the Gemini update with Android XR News and may further demonstrate the Astra Project Project project.

Google’s I/O keynote will be available on Google’s YouTube channel, and it’s here once it’s available on May 20 at 1 p.m. ET.

Android Show: The I/O version will air on Google’s Android YouTube channel on May 13 at 1 p.m. ET, and since it seems to be pre-recorded, we’ve already embed it on it.
