“Human Skin” teddy bear was left at SoCal gas station. Arrested for suspected prank

An allegedly creepy teddy bear that looked like a creepy teddy made from human skin was found outside a Victorville gas station over the weekend as a practical joke – the alleged practical clown was arrested.

Hector Corona Villanueva was arrested Monday for allegedly submitting an emergency report to authorities for knowing it was false and intentionally implanting evidence to present it to true in a false way, according to a departmental press release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff.

“Incidents like this occupy valuable emergency resources and put the public at risk, which may delay response time to legal call for service,” the release said. “We want to thank those who have helped information during the investigation of the case.”

Officials said deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to calls from the AMPM gas station on Bear Valley Road at 12:07 p.m. Sunday. Delegates discovered a teddy bear, which is made from human skin like human skin. The San Bernardino County coroner collected the bear and determined that it was not a human remains.

Dark Seed Creations’ South Carolina artist Robert Kelly confirmed in a Facebook post that she was the creator of the bear and shipped one of them to Etsy customers in Victorville last week.

The bears in the Facebook video posted by Kelly are sewn together like Frankenstein’s monster, carrying something that seems to be blood.

“No, I don’t know the buyer’s intentions and I’m not doing pranks from the other end of me,” she wrote.

The bears are now sold out at the seller’s Etsy store for $165.
