Kabul Airport bombing appears in court after suspect extraditioned to us in 2021

A planner of the alleged deadly terrorist attack appeared in a Virginia court Wednesday. Mohammad Sharifullah is accused of planning a bomb explosion at the monastery gate outside Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul in 2021. He was extradited to the United States and was accused of conspiring to provide significant support to foreign terrorist organizations.
