The strong -7.7 earthquake hit central Myanmar.

The epicenter is located 16 kilometers (10 miles) northwest of Sagan City, with a depth of 10 kilometers.

Strong tremors in Thailand and Yunnan in southwestern China extend to Thailand and Yunnan.
