Insiders question the future of Grizzlies Stars after Bane Trade

Longtime insider Brian Windhorst has been questioned about the future of Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. after franchise deal Desmond Bane.

After the Grizzlies sent Desmond Bane to Orlando with a huge deal, Windhorst didn’t waste time on what really mattered.

“Yes, let’s split the deal into two parts,” he said SportsCenter. “Let’s focus on the Orlando side and the Grizzlies side. I promise you the Grizzlies side is more interesting”

The Magic won Bane in exchange for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Cole Anthony and four first-round draft picks.

But Windhorst is not only looking at math. He focuses on motivation.

He said: “The deal is so expensive because the Magic not only pays for Bane, one of only three players who have beaten 800 3-pointers with 40% cuts since joining the league in 2020-21, but can also be signed from Kentavious Caldwell’s contract for two years in the next one or two.

Windhorst calls it “rebuilding trade.” Then he put down the line that turned the conversation upside down.

“The next question is: Where is Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr.?” he said. “And I don’t know the answer. It’s that we just want to figure this out with this deal.”

“I wouldn’t ask Kentaves Caldwell-Pope. I wouldn’t ask Cole Anthony. I wouldn’t ask those four first-round picks. I wouldn’t ask, ‘You’re going to expand Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr.'” Windhorst said:

So now we are all asking: Why Memphis real Is this true?
