Iran is accused of passing information about nuclear scientists to Israeli people

Dubai (Reuters) – Iran sentenced a man on Wednesday to convicted of Israeli spy and conveyed information about a nuclear scientist being killed in Israel’s June attack on the Islamic Republic.

The report said a man named Rouzbeh Vadi worked in an “important and sensitive organization” in Iran without further details.

Iranian convictions have increased significantly, with at least eight death sentences being imposed in recent months.

The report said Wadi “has caused widespread crimes against the internal and external security of the country, which has caused serious damage to public order”.

Israel launched a 12-day air strike in June targeting top Iranian generals and nuclear scientists. Iran retaliates with barrage of missiles and drones.
