Israeli fighters attacked the President Ahmed Al Salah earlier on Friday near the presidential palace in the Syrian capital Damascus, a message sent by Israeli leaders to President Ahmed Al Salah, who are willing to attack within his country after the recent wave of sectarian violence.
More than 100 people have died in conflicts between Syria’s pro-government forces and militants from the country’s minority groups in recent days.

Friday’s strike comes as Israeli representative Druse conducted military intervention within Syria since violence broke out this week.

Mr. Al-Shara, a former Al-Qaeda affiliate whose rebel coalition overthrew President Bashar al-Assad in December and now presents himself as a politician, but Israeli leaders are wary.
An Israeli military spokesman declined Friday to provide more details about what the jets target or destroy.
The strike did not promptly comment from the Syrian government.
By Thursday night, representatives of the Syrian government had agreed with the Drews leader to quell the violence, and leaders of the Svida region controlled by the Drews had previously been reluctant to unite with government forces to say they did so openly.

Israel launched air strikes in Syria on Wednesday and threatened to remove government forces if clashes continue between pro-government fighters and members of the Drus militia. The Israeli military said its planes attacked a group of “agents” and Israel accused “attacking Drus civilians” in the outbreak of violence in the suburbs of Damascus.
The latest outbreak of Syria’s sectarian unrest began on Tuesday after an audio clip posted on social media allegedly a Pastor Drus who insulted the Prophet Muhammad. The pastor denied the allegation, and Syria’s interior ministry said he was not involved.
Nevertheless, armed Sunni Muslim extremist groups began to attack large crowds, including the town of Jaramana near Damascus. The Drus militia responded effectively, and the government sent security personnel to calm the unrest.
On Wednesday, the conflict spread to another town in the southern suburb of Damascus and entered Sweida, and the battle continued until Thursday morning.
Five prominent Drews leaders issued a statement Thursday night saying the Interior Ministry personnel and judicial police “draw from the Svidas” “must be activated”, showing their willingness to join forces with the government.
They also said government forces are being deployed to secure the road from Sweida to the capital. Druse leaders said the government also agreed to send reinforcements to protect Jaramana.
The U.S. State Department called on Thursday to stop sectarian violence and hold the perpetrators accountable. “Recent violent and inflammatory rhetoric targeting members of the Drus community in Syria is reprehensible and unacceptable,” said Tammy Bruce, a spokeswoman. “Sectarianism will only put Syria and the region in chaos and more violence.”
There are over one million Druss throughout the Middle East, mainly in Syria and Lebanon, some in Jordan and Israel. In the Drews community, wherever they are, they are usually inclined to participate in national citizenship and political life and often serve in the local military, despite maintaining unique cultural and religious practices.
