Israel sends evacuation notice from Khan Yunis before strike

After launching rockets to Israel in southern Gaza, the Israeli military told most of Khan Yunis residents to evacuate immediately before a strike was planned.

In a message posted in Arabic, a military spokesperson described the warning as a “final notice” and directed civilians to move to shelters in the west of the city to ensure their safety.

The Army said it will respond with “extreme force” to any area where the rocket is launched.

According to the military, fire opened from southern Gaza on Saturday morning toward the Israeli area. It said all of this was intercepted by Israel’s missile defense system.
