Musk, he is the CEO Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) had earlier contributed $250 million to Trump’s 2024 campaign and was elected as a cost reduction initiative under the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
“I said from the beginning that this fanaticism is about to end. I’m going to take another step and I’m going to say again that Trump will eventually follow Elon’s money because it bothers him because he’s the richest man in the world.”
Cohen, now a well-known critic of Trump, speculated that Trump could use Musk and his business to “utilize the United States of America” and try to “retrieve” the government subsidies to Tesla.

But White House Communications Director Steven Cheung dismissed Cohen’s predictions, calling him a “deep” person, spreading “false and deception.”
