A California-based Cyberlift owner took the electric truck to the 114-degree desert and noticed signs of its collapse.
His Cybertruck’s lamp pole was decorated with glue and began to get out as he was washing the car by hand.
What happened?
As Torque News reports, Duncan, the owner of Cyberlis, noticed that the light strips of the vehicle were hanging midway while cleaning after a desert road trip.
He was disappointed to find his $100,000 electric car crashed and might not be able to withstand the heat. Duncan only hand-washed his Cybertruck and never passed an automatic car wash.
He shared a photo of some separate light poles in his forum post and shared one with the Sebertruk owners club.
“It seems they are too dependent on glue,” Duncan wrote in the title, asking forum members if they have encountered similar situations.

In response to the forum post, the Secbock-style owners agreed that they were not satisfied with Tesla’s use of glue at the electric car conference.
One forum member commented: “I wonder why Tesla didn’t design the light bars that the light poles were to be bonded as before, and the simple button label at the end also made it catch in place on the windshield.”
