Justin Rose (Disease), Michael King (Return) Exit Truist

Masters runner-up Justin Rose withdrew from the Truist title before Saturday’s third round due to illness.

Rose lost to Rory McIlroy in the playoffs at Augusta National Golf Club on April 13, struggling in the first two rounds of the Philadelphia Cricket Club. He posted 77 points in 77 matches on Friday when playing in the rain and was at the bottom of the rankings in the absence of cutouts.

Ross said in an article on X: “After gradually getting sick over the past few days, I made an unfortunate decision.

The PGA Championship is the second-biggest champion of the season and will be held next week at the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Rose is an 11-time PGA Tour champion and finished second in each of the past two majors. He tied for second in the Open Championships of the Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland, behind winner Xander Schauffele.

The PGA Tour announced that Michael Kim was supposed to play with Rose on Saturday and withdrew from the Truist title in the third round due to a back injury.

“It’s not good to start this week and to worsen the week over the past two days,” Kim wrote on X.[I] Will be treated and hope to come back soon. ”

King started the season at No. 155 in the official world golf rankings, climbing to No. 53 with three top ten in the first 13 games of the 2025 Tour.
