Kelsea Ballerini reacts to fan’s ‘disrespectful’ comments during concert

She concluded: “Everyone on the team is either happy or a failure. Please.”

Ballerini created “Penthouse” for her 2023 EP, Roll up the welcome matwhich details her relationship with Morgan Evans. (Ballerini and Evans, 40, were married from 2017 to 2022.)

“It hurts to put shit in a box/Now we don’t talk anymore,” Ballerini sings, detailing the couple’s move out of the apartment they shared in Nashville. “It pains me to roll up the welcome mat/know you’re getting half of it.”

In another part of the song, Ballerini sang about kissing “last night’s new friend” and seemed to move on.

“Now I don’t know where you sleep, baby,” she said. “We got along great until I wanted to leave and now I know you hate me.”

Ballerini later changed the lyrics “Don’t know where” to “Don’t care” during live performances.
