LONDON (AP) – King Charles III plans to join the audience of Pope Francis during his state visit to the Vatican next month, a sign that the Holy See is optimistic that the Pope will return to work at that time, forbid him from recovering from bi-pulmonary pneumonia.

“The visit to Italy will emphasize the depth and breadth of bilateral relations,” the palace said in a statement.
One of the events of Charles’ journey to the Vatican will be a historic first, with the Chinese king visiting the Pope Cathedral as the highest governor of the Church of England. Outside the wall, the reconciliation and universal relations between Christian faiths celebrated. The Royal Church of Kings, the choir of St. George’s Church in Windsor Castle and the Sistine Church will perform.
Before breaking up with Rome during the Protestant Reformation, the British king had a special connection with the Cathedral. The church is built on a white marble sarcophagus and is believed to be the tomb of St. Paul in about 2000.
The visit was held during the Papal Jubilee, a year of forgiveness and reconciliation celebrated by the Catholic Church every 25 years.
“The visit to the Holy See will be a historical visit to the Papal Jubilee and will mark an important step in the relationship between the Catholic Church and the Church of England,” the palace said.
