Lisa Rinna Shared time about her late mother, Lois Rinnaapproaching a fatal encounter with a man who continues to be a prolific serial killer.
Lisa, 61, aired a horrible incident with her husband on Friday, March 28 on the “Let’s Don’t Talk About Husband” podcast. Harry Hamlin. “My mom was attacked by a serial killer when she was 30.” The real housewife in Beverly Hills Alum recalls. “We don’t know that he was a serial killer at the time, but he turned out to be a serial killer.”

Carpenter, 94, was found guilty of seven murders and was confirmed to be the killer of the eighth murder case. He was also suspected of having been in two other killings.
Lisa’s mother met a carpenter when she was 30 in 1960 and lived in San Francisco. (Louis died in November 2021 at the age of 93.)
“She works with him,” Lisa explained. He stuttered, so she felt sorry for him, but was always nice to him. This is what happened. She is at the bus stop. They live in San Francisco. She didn’t have a car, so she took the bus, maybe in the morning, maybe before going to work. David Carpenter drove and said, ‘hi, lois, can I give you a ride? He has a child.
Louis initially descended, but Carpenter kept pushing until she accepted the ride. “They started driving and suddenly, she started to feel weird because it didn’t feel right, and suddenly, he was talking to her and he didn’t stutter. At that time, a military policeman began to set off on the road. Carpenter heard the car and attacked Louis with a hammer. If the congressman does not arrive, Louis could die.
“The military police shot David Carpenter in the stomach,” Lisa said. “It’s the creepy and weirdest part. [Lois is] Overall shock. He hit her at least five times with a hammer. Her fingers were shaking. Her wallet overflowed, she opened the door in some way, and the wallet overflowed, and she was busy picking up the items and putting them back into the wallet. Her head was bleeding. She was totally shocked, but all she wanted to do was put the stuff back in her wallet. ”
Louis eventually spent three months recovering from her injuries in the hospital, while the carpenter was convicted of the assault and stayed in jail for seven years. He began a murderous craze in 1979 after another prison was sentenced to abduction. When he was on trial for these murders, Louis testified and Lisa went to see it.
“[It] Very weird. I saw him! “Lisa recalled that she was 21 years old at the time of trial. It was really clumsy.”
Rhobh Fans will remember that Louis talked about the incident in the 2019 Bravo series episode. “That was a bad thing. I knew him,” she recalled. “I think that’s it.”
Lisa noted in the podcast that Lois didn’t tell her about the encounter until she was 18, even though she grew up knowing that her mother had a metal plate on her head and had no sense of smell.
“[I asked]”Mom, how did you get the metal plate on your head?” Lisa remembered. She told me that a boy had grown up and hit her in the head on the street. She made up a story. ”
The former soap star said the incident understandably made Louis “overprotect her children”, and Lisa now believes it was one of the reasons she had never experienced such violence.
“I grew up in an environment that was very scary,” she explained. “It saved me from attack. I think…I don’t trust anyone. How could I? But I think it saved me [from] Entering my own situation this way. ”
