Samsung’s affordable Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26 will receive 6 years of software updates

The three share more specs, such as their 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 120-Hz refresh rate, a 5,000-MAH battery capacity, and even has the same camera type that includes the main 50-megapixel sensor, an overspeed type, a macro lens, despite the variability in the number of megapixels. These three cameras at a price may sound impressive, but Ultrawide and macro cameras on budget phones are usually not great, so it’s interesting to see if this is the case again, or if these cameras are useful.

However, it’s not only about megapixels. Samsung specifically calls the A36 selfie camera (probably the A56) – they may have fewer megapixels than the A26, but this 12 megapixel shooter is able to deliver 10-bit HDR lenses at 30 frames per second. This just means it will represent the color better in selfie videos.

Samsung says the A36 and A56 have larger steam chamber cooling systems that can dissipate heat better during intense processing activities such as gaming, and the system is nearly the same size as last year’s Galaxy S24+. They also support 45 watts of fast charging, which should make you as much as 70% in 30 minutes.

AI Performance

The main area they all differ is performance. The A26 5G and A56 5G use Samsung’s own Exynos processors, especially the Exynos 1380, with 6 GB of RAM and the Exynos 1580, respectively, with 8 GB of RAM. The Galaxy A26’s configuration seems to be the same as last year’s Galaxy A35 5G, which performs well but still has some ties to Sttustery. But the phone was launched for $400, while the A26 was cheaper to cut the price by $100.

Only the Galaxy A36 5G has a Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, a new chipset announced late last year, although performance should be similar to the Snapdragon 7S Gen 2 in many international phones, such as the POCO X6.
