Macron urges in view of the latest Russian strike
French President Emmanuel Macron has called for “strong measures” in case Russia continues to block efforts to reach a peace agreement on the Ukraine war, as Russia’s deadly attack on smaller neighbors has not yet eased.
Macron wrote on X on Sunday that the Russian attack “must end.”
The French president said: “A ceasefire is needed as soon as possible.
Here are three people after a Russian strike against Kiev on Sunday killed one person and injured.
Russia launched only more than 1,460 Glide bombs, about 670 drones and more than 30 missiles in neighboring countries last week, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
A total of 18 people, including nine children, were killed in a Russian missile attack on Friday.
Unlike Ukraine, Russia continues to reject the U.S. proposal for an unconditional ceasefire and insists on military aid to Kiev, among other demands.
