Majid Al Futtaim grows luxury growth and plans 30 new Middle East stores

Majid Al Futtaim, a family-owned conglomerate, operates shopping malls, retail and hotel venues in the Middle East and North Africa, unveiled a luxury retail expansion plan for the Italian brand partnership in 2025 and owns more than 30 new stores in the Middle East.

The expansion strategy includes the introduction of tall Corneliani and Poltrona Frau stores in major locations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia.

The company aims to open five independent elevated stores in destinations such as Solitaire Mall in Saudi Arabia and the Emirates Mall in the UAE. Dubai Mall and Grove will also be held later this year.

This move is in response to increased consumer demand for Italian quality and craftsmanship.

Fahed Ghanim, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle, said: “In a region where customers have a lot of choices, our ambition is to curate a portfolio of luxury brands that are truly unique. By introducing the luxury of the new Dimensibers, Corneliani, Corneliani and Poltrona Frau, we are introducing luxury improvements, we are introducing luxury improvements, we are integrating luxury goods into customers’ tastes.

“At Majid Al Futtaim, our partnership with luxury brands has been deeply rooted in this concept store, which helps identify and nurture brands and has the potential to thrive in this market. From the initial in-store store to independent stores, the Eleventy journey is the way our businesses do their testing and growth. Resonate with our customers.”

Eleventy’s expansion resources can leverage its existing regional footprint, which already has a shopping mall concept store and pop-up locations in the Mall of Emirates.

The collaboration between Majid Al Futtaim and Poltrona Frau will be launched in May 2025 in the UAE’s first store in the UAE outside the Centria shopping mall in Riyadh.

Corneliani has opened its store in April at Solitaire Mall.

The retailer’s growth trajectory was successful in 2024, with revenue growing by 26% and digital sales growing by 31%.
