Man cruelly attacks woman in Rüfüsusol performance at Rose Bowl Stadium

A man who brutally beat a woman was captured at the Rose Bowl Stadium during a concert in Rüfüs DuSol on Saturday night. Other concerts expressed shock at the event, with some attendees saying they were concerned about crowd control and safety measures on the sold-out show.

Video shared by the festival news platform Festival Owl shows a man knocking a woman to the ground and repeatedly throwing punches at her while other attendees try to pull him back.

“This man continued to attack our team and while he continued to attack our team, he slammed me out and knocked me out, causing severe bleeding,” read a message shared by the Festival Owl. She is seeking the public’s help to determine the man’s after the attack, which took place in Section 12-H, line 20 of line 20.

The victim said the man became irritated after a drink accidentally spilled on him. According to the woman, he then yelled that the leak was intentional and returned after 30 minutes, screaming and threatening violence.

“I tried to calm the situation down and apologize again – the next I remembered that I woke up in a medical tent an hour later and missed the entire show.”

The Australian electronic music trio said in a statement shared on social media on Monday night that they were heartbroken and heard about the violence that took place during the opening ceremony of the show. They encourage anyone with information about this incident to contact the Pasadena Police Department.

“This behavior is totally unacceptable anywhere, and the fact that it happened in one of our shows is devastating,” the group wrote. “Local law enforcement is actively investigating the situation.”

Concert organizers have been criticized on social media, fans complaining about long queues, crowds and poor crowd control, and citing some concerns that this could turn into a similar tragedy to the deadly crowds in 2021.

“Honestly, it’s a circus. It’s not safe, I’m angry,” a concert performer told Derek to tell NBC4 News.

Christina Molina told KTLA News that the venue is so crowded and people are watching the show from the sidewalk.

“I actually put people on my back and everyone blocked the entire sidewalk,” she told the station. “The control of the crowd didn’t exist.”
