Mother and son were murdered while searching for missing relatives in Mexico

A Mexican mother belonging to a group looking for missing relatives was murdered along with her son in the western region plagued by criminal violence.
Maria del Carmen Morales was shot dead in Jalisco State later Wednesday, the prosecutor’s office said.
