Mother says her 7-month-old baby was kidnapped outside a California shopping center after the attack
Police are searching for a seven-month-old boy who was reportedly kidnapped in San Bernardino County, California.
On Thursday, the boy’s mother, Rebecca Haro, reported that she was attacked outside a company in Yucaipa. Officials responded to the call at about 7:47 p.m. and were told that the woman’s child was missing. The boy was identified as Emanuel Harrow.
The mother said her son was kidnapped after the attack.
Police brought the scent tracking dogs to try to find the child, but the dogs were unable to lead the authorities to the missing boy.
The mother told NBC Los Angeles Friday that she had just removed her son from his car seat in the square when she bumped from behind. She comes from Cabbaton, 90 miles east of Los Angeles and participated in her eldest son’s youth sports game at Yucaipa.

“I noticed my baby smells so I wanted to change him before entering the store,” she told the broadcaster. “I took him out of the car seat and put him on the chair. I put his diapers here and somebody said, ‘hola.’ I can’t turn around, I don’t remember anything.”
Police did not release details about the attack or attacker or any description of the attacker.
With the search for the kids, investigators said Saturday that they “can’t rule out foul play.”
Police interviewed the boy’s parents, Jack and Rebecca Harrow. “In these interviews, Rebecca faced inconsistent conflicts in the initial statement and refused to continue the interview,” the sheriff’s office said in an update on Saturday. The search for the child continued.
Emmanuel’s parents urge anyone with information to stand up.
“Whoever takes my son, please return to him,” Jake Haro told Ktla. “We just want him back. We won’t do anything to you. Give our son. Keep him safe and don’t hurt him, make sure you feed him and change him.”
Rebecca told the media: “If you know nothing, please come forward or take him to the police.” “Please come back from my son. I’m begging you.”
Local law enforcement also requested public help to find the child.
The baby wore a Nike jumpsuit for the last time, weighing about 21 pounds. The boy is about 24 inches tall and has brown hair and brown eyes.
