This is the game that everyone wants to see again.
USC Trojans will play UCLA Bruins in Los Angeles on Saturday and have a fight in Los Angeles.
The last time the two teams competed, the fourth Trojan won the dubbing, thanks to Juju Watkins’ 38-point performance. The Watt native has been renaissance in women’s college basketball since her Grand Slam 248 cover dropped, but she hasn’t just competed for the national championship: Senior guards McKenzie Forbes and Junior Rayah Marshall were second and third in scoring, respectively. If the Trojans win tonight, they will have the ability to win the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Championship.
On the other side of the town is the second-place Brown Bear, which has been unbeaten until the match against USC not long ago. UCLA has been destroying more than 30 opponents under Lauren Betts’ double machines and Kiki Rice’s sleek, volatile guards. To beat USC, they need to keep balance and execute, especially in the paint and three-point line – in February, their shooting haunts put them in trouble with the Trojan horse.
