Next Week on The Young and the Restless: Phyllis’ Party Foul

Well, we’ve got spoilers for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and her party-breaking plot, as well as the serious violence orchestrated by a panicked Jack Abbott and Matt Clark, among other big spoilers. But let’s start with Phyllis.

This weekend, Kane Ashby (Billy Flynn) meets Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to be her plus-one at the AbbottCom launch party. Phyllis finds out that Kane will be Lily’s date to the event. So, of course, Phyllis couldn’t just sit back and watch. No matter what, she shows up and makes a scene because that’s what she does. But now she’s working harder.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Cane is asking for trouble?

The real twist in all this is that Kane tells Lily that he’s done with Phyllis for good and has cut ties. Kane told Phyllis the same thing. But after Lily left, he started arguing with Phyllis at the Red Light Bar. Kane then proceeds to make out with Phyllis like crazy. So, this is all going to get really messy and could blow up in Kane’s face.

Plus, Phyllis finally confirms to Kane that she stole his AI, which is what he said he wanted from her – the truth. But it’s too late. So, at this moment, Phyllis and Kane both vowed to take revenge on each other. But we may soon encounter some secret hateful behavior. Because the spark between them is still there, even though they say they don’t like each other. You know, Lily is going to find out, which is probably why she left town so distraught that it just so happened that Crystal Khalil was about to go on maternity leave, which we knew was coming. She is pregnant.

Phyllis sabotages Abbott Laboratories with a vengeance

But Lily still showed up next week, smiling and having fun with Kane, even though Lily said it wasn’t a date. So Phyllis attends next week’s Abbott launch event with her son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziardi) and his daughter Tessa Porter (Kate Fairbanks). Phyllis told them the party would be fun. But Daniel said it was too early to draw conclusions.

Things get less interesting when Phyllis discovers Kane and Lily are together. You know, Daniel would be embarrassed. Because of course, Phyllis is going to commit a serious party foul.

There’s no way she’s sitting back and letting Kane and Lily have a fun date night. I hope Phyllis can do a good old show. I think things are going to get very soapy, especially if she tells Lily that Kane isn’t done with her yet and they had a lip-lock in a red light bar after Lily left earlier that day.

I think Phyllis is going to make Kane look bad. Because honestly, he looks really bad doing it, telling Lily he’s done, and then, you know, playing tonsil hockey with Phyllis. So in addition to Phyllis showing up and hiding, we’ll also see if she gets evicted like most of the party.

Sally Spectra and Billy Abbott successfully launch AbbottCom

During next week’s press conference, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) greets everyone and delivers AbbottCom’s big mission statement, with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at her side to provide support. Of course, Sally is the CEO and Billy is her deputy. Sally tells everyone that Abbott Laboratories will stay true to the facts and that people can turn to them for the truth.

We’ll have to wait and see if she’ll work on the Newman media slam because of the tilt, since we know they did it because Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) told them to. We also know that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) were in attendance. They said they were going to watch the game. So, if Sally doesn’t take a dig at them, I’m sure Billy will.

Victor’s artificial intelligence conspiracy is revealed, and Jack and Diane are thrown into panic

Also at the press conference, we have Jack checking something on his phone, and then he looks completely stunned, he seems to be panicking, and he shows Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) what’s on his phone. So, Jack said, “What the hell?” And Diane was shocked, too, and she said, “No.”

So maybe Victor found a way to still use artificial intelligence against Jabot even if they were shut down. Maybe Jack kept Marchetti running because it was his own division, and Victor somehow used Marchetti’s AI and was then able to get into Jabot through the back door. If he did, I bet his granddaughter Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) would never forgive him.

The Young and the Restless: Diane Trix

Remember, Diane implanted a tracking program that Victor didn’t know about. Therefore, these people are on the lookout for any AI intrusions and will trace them to their source and leave a trail. Diane wants concrete evidence that Victor committed a cybercrime so they can turn him over to the police or FBI and put him behind bars.

So, one thing will be clear next week. Jack and Diane are shocked, and Victor is likely one of the reasons. But Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) now knows about her husband Victor’s plans, and she knows he’s been lying to her, and I doubt she’ll take action. So maybe she can find a solution.

Matt Clark’s murder plan for Sienna in Genoa City

Plus, this weekend, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) insists she needs to leave Genoa City, while Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) wants to know why she’s so determined to leave. She said it had to do with Matt and how dangerous he was. But what exactly is it about. Noah eventually discovered that this was Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) dissatisfaction with their relationship. BTW, if you don’t know, I don’t know how they aged the characters. But actress Sharon Keys and actress Tamara Braun are the same age. They are both 54 years old.

As such, Sienna insists it’s not Noah’s job to protect her. But eventually, he’ll convince Sienna to stay. Sienna and Noah also exchanged “I love yous” this weekend. Of course, Noah isn’t happy that his mom, Sharon, is trying to get Sienna to leave him.

So, in the end, Noah convinces her to stay, and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) sees keeping Sienna as bait to lure Matt to Genoa City so they can finish him off. So, he was okay with that.

The young and the restless: here comes anne

If you remember, Nick booked a room at the GCAC in the names of Noah and Sienna as a false clue. Sure enough, next week’s Young and the Restless spoilers have Matt Clark hanging out at GCAC in Genoa City, even though he says he hates the place. Guess what? Sienna’s horrible husband didn’t come to GC alone. He takes dirty cop Anne Stewart (Catherine Kresge) along for the ride.

Matt and Annie chat in the park the next week, and Matt tells her that Noah hid Sienna in a suite at the GCAC. Matt tells Annie that he doesn’t care if it’s difficult. She’d better go in and take care of Sienna.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Is Matt Targeting Sienna?

I don’t think he meant well. It looks like Matt wants his cheating wife Sienna dead. I also wonder if Genoa City’s sleazy detective Annie will follow the less sleazy detective Burrow (Matt Cohen). Maybe he’s been tasked by the LAPD to track Annie and arrest her for all the dirty stuff she’s done in Los Angeles and being a dirty cop.
