Nine paramedics disappeared for a week in southern Gaza
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) rescue group said on Saturday that nine Palestinian paramedics have been missing for a week in southern Gaza.
The Rescue Bureau said their fate was that Israeli troops targeted them.
China also accuses Israeli authorities of preventing rescue teams from finding missing persons near Tar Suldan.
“We condemn Israel for intentional obstruction of search work and are responsible for the lives of our team members,” the organization said in a statement posted on X.
The group called on the international community to put pressure on the Israeli authorities to reveal the fate of missing care workers.
The Israeli military did not initially comment on the incident when it approached.
The war in Gaza was triggered by a massacre carried out by Palestinian terrorists on October 7, 2023.
Israel responded with a massive bombing aimed at eliminating the Islamic militant group Hamas.
More than 50,000 people were believed to have died in the sealed coastal areas of the conflict that was recently restored after a ceasefire two months.
