According to Verge, the file seems to confirm that the handheld console still contains near field communication (NFC) support to unlock specific content in the game. The Switch 2 will also have two different USB-C charging ports (one on the top and bottom), as well as faster WiFi compatibility – the console will be able to connect to a Wi-Fi 6 network with bandwidth up to 80MHz.

Mixable light speed

Nintendo’s update Switch 2 made fun of it first in January, introducing a larger shell, slightly different coloring approach and a modified Joy-Con controller. A public patent later revealed that the new Joy-Con design does not run like a traditional gamepad, but is more like a computer mouse, which may make players more sporty. Nintendo’s Big Switch 2 launch event was held on April 2, though, that rumors won’t be confirmed.
