Nintendo Switch 2 will support regular USB mouse in at least one game

There is some competition for the Joy-Con “Mouse” of the Switch 2. At least one of the released games of Nintendo’s new consoles include USB mouse support. Nobunga’s Ambition: Awakening CE Lets you plug in a traditional pointing device and start your business. According to developer Koei Tecmo, the mouse will “work seamlessly.”
Nobunga’s ambitions This allows you to switch between the controller and USB mouse instantly. “Once the USB mouse is connected, a message will appear in the upper left corner indicating that the mouse is connected,” Michi Ryu said in the video. “It takes precedence over the Joy-Con 2 when the USB mouse is connected. As you can see, you can switch immediately. It’s very smooth.”
So, what does this mean for other mouse-friendly Switch 2 games? Civilization VIII thought of another post title. We emailed 2K games to ask and will update this story if we hear back.
To be fair, the Switch 2’s Joy-Con mouse support is reliable. Engadget’s Sam Rutherford was pleasantly surprised by this in his hands-on practice. However, it is still very happy to have the choice. (To be honest, a real mouse will be hard to beat.)
Although this is not a well-known fact, the original switch also supports USB mice. For example, Nintendo’s visual programming tool game builder garage works with them. But the number of games that support Joy-Con mouse makes deals on Switch 2 even more important.
