No sub-brand CMF has just announced new smartphones and earbuds
No sub-brand CMF has just announced several new products, including a refresh of its flagship smartphone. The Phone Pro 2 looks to improve on its predecessor in various major aspects.
The company said it is the lightest and slimmest smartphone it has designed. It is 7.8mm thin and weighs 6.5 oz. This may make it the lightest phone ever, but the iPhone 16, for example, is only six ounces.
The sixth-generation MediaTek DIMMESTICE 7300 PRO 5G processor includes an 8-core CPU that can run clock speeds up to 2.5GHz, which can increase processing and graphics compared to the CMF Phone 1. The battery looks particularly powerful and the company recommends that the company can do it for two days on a single charge.
There is a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and four camera setups with a 50MP main camera. The system includes a telephoto lens, an ultra-wide and a front-facing selfie camera. There is also a modular component in the camera array, as the user can connect the fisheye and the macro lens.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro comes in four colors, but each provides unique design elements. For example, the black and light green models have a back that mimics frosted glass and borders the metal frame. The orange model has a metallic sheen, while the white phone back contains a paneled sandstone finish.
Good news? These are budget-friendly phones. The 256GB model costs just $279. However, they seem difficult to master here in the United States. Booking starts technically and is open today on May 6, but the phone is only available to people on the company’s beta plan.
The earbuds are now accessible and cannot be purchased in the United States when they are launched. CMF Buds 2 looks like the standard entry-level event, mimicking spatial audio with ANC and Tech. They cost about $50.
CMF Buds 2 Plus adds Hi-Res LDAC and a complete EQ to the mixture. These sell for about $65. CMF Buds 2A is made for budget-conscious consumers, although they still include ANC. They cost about $38. All of these earplugs will be available on May 6.
