NVIDIA RTX 5060 GPU: Release Date, Price, More

NVIDIA announced that its 5060 series GEFORCE RTX GPU will be purchased on April 16. The lineup includes two models: the RTX 5060 TI, which has 8GB and 16GB VRAM variants, and the RTX 5060 has only 8GB VRAM options. The former GPU will be released on April 16, at $379 and $429, respectively, which was released sometime in May for $299.
With the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 TI, NVIDIA makes high-tech features easier for gamers to get a $2,000 GPU. In particular, the new 5060 GPU offers DLSS 4 support and full ray tracing for enhanced visual effects and higher frame rates.
“The RTX 5060 series offers gamers the next generation of performance, and the visuals start at $299,” Geforce Marketing Marketing Matt Wuebbling said in an NVIDIA press release. “Powered by the advanced NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and featuring DLSS 4 technology in over 100 games, this new GPU improves the game with amazing visuals, high frame rates and fast responsiveness.”
Nintendo Switch 2 Tariff Impact: What We Know So far
AI enhancements for DLSS 4, such as multi-framework, super resolution and NVIDIA reflection, are all found in the RTX 5060 GPU family. In addition to faster frame rates and higher resolutions, these features will also reduce latency during the game.

Even better, new GPUs are launched, including Cyberpunk 2077,,,,, Alan Wake 2and Black Myth: Wukong. NVIDIA says that in the maximum settings of the GPU, users can enjoy “visual effects in units of over 100 frames per second” on certain titles.
If you are planning to purchase one to upgrade the current settings, we recommend that you make your decision as soon as possible, as new Nvidia GPUs tend to be out of stock quickly. (NVIDIA RTX 5090 and 5080 GPUs can be very difficult to find.) We all remember the RTX 3080 dilemma in 2020, and as US tariff policy situations increase, we are not sure how this launch will evolve. The product page for the RTX 5060 TI has not even been released yet, so you may need to back up your credit card.
In addition to the GPU announcement, NVIDIA also revealed that RTX-5060 laptops from every major manufacturer will also start at $1,099 in May this year. New laptops are said to have lower latency, which can double the frame rate of previous iterations. They will also be available in a range of configurations and sizes in the form of 14.9mm.
