OCA partner Soorty, can enhance sustainable cotton in Pakistan
Through Soorty’s partnership in the OCA seed commercialization program, it is addressing a long-standing challenge to provide access to secure, non-genetically modified organic (GMO) cotton seeds and to enhance the shame of sustainable cotton in Pakistan.
By participating in the project, Soci can provide farmers with reliable, reliable non-GMO seeds, marking a significant advance in the cultivation of organic cotton.
Dr. Yousaf said: “When we accept the digitalization of projects, we are revolutionizing farmers’ consultation with modern tools, ensuring traceability is ensured through digital Bell passports and strengthening our initiatives through DEAPICATIC’s seed lab. By launching new ROC projects, we will not only enhance businesses, so we will not only enhance businesses, so we will not only enhance farms, so we will not only enhance farms, so we will not only enhance farms, so we can enhance businesses, and our future is, our future is, our future is, our position is constantly growing, our future is not only strengthening our planned agriculture.”
Soorty’s sustainability approach covers many activities, including regeneration and organic agriculture, recycling, traceability work, and ethical manufacturing practices.
The company integrates responsible sourcing, innovative culture, social impact and digital transparency to demonstrate that denim can be performed in ways that benefit the environment and individuals in the supply chain.
Soorty’s additional sustainability efforts include promoting social excitement and changing the cotton sector in Pakistan through sustainable practices.
The Soci and Soorty Regenagri Initiative (SRI) are at the heart of these efforts, providing non-GMO, ethically produced cotton that also rejuvenates the soil. These initiatives provide farmers with financial stability, education and ongoing support, while integrating traceability solutions and ensuring equitable market access for growers.
Second Life is a trademark brand of recyclable cotton products under Soorty umbrellas, strengthening Soorty’s commitment to cycles by converting post-consumer and post-industrial waste into new, traceable denim products.
Soorty is also committed to obtaining regeneration organic certification at the end of the year. The certification will complement Soorty’s existing organic program, designed to enhance soil health and biodiversity.
Additionally, the company launched a project that will provide brand partners and consumers with visibility into the origins of cotton. The introduction of QR-coded cotton bales is expected to be from the end of this year to the end of this year, enabling users to verify the source of their cotton and promote accountability in the supply chain.
