Oliver Hudson reveals plans for mum Goldie Hawn’s 80th birthday

goldie hornHer family will be pulling out all the stops to celebrate her milestone 80th birthday on Friday, November 21st.
“We would do anything for her. It’s totally up to her,” said Horn’s eldest son, oliver hudsonexclusively informed US Weekly While promoting his new Magnolia Network series, Gingerbread Land: The Biggest Holiday Contest. “[If] She wants to go to the moon and we’ll figure it out, but she’s a simple girl. “
Horne shared about Oliver, 49, and daughter Kate Hudson46, with ex bill hudsonand son Wyatt Russell39, with long-term partner Kurt Russell. (Kurt, 74, is also the father of a son boston russell45 years old, from a previous marriage. )
“She wants her family and that’s it, that’s what we’re doing now,” Oliver told us celebrations. “We have a lot of fun things planned that she doesn’t know about, but we’ll just keep it [and] keep it [just to] family. “
Oliver further joked that his blended family has lots of ideas to celebrate the Oscar winner’s special day.
“We have some golf tournament stuff, we have some chefs, [and] We might have some music,” he told us. “You know, we have some stuff, but the customers are just our family.”
Horn’s family was also quick to celebrate her big day on social media.
“It felt impossible to condense half of her life that I knew into a single title. I was so lucky to receive a novel written with so much love and wisdom from her,” Kate wrote on Instagram on Friday, along with some throwback photos. “She is truly extraordinary and as I celebrate her every day, today we can all share it!”

Several of Hawn and Kate’s celebrity friends also celebrated the special moment in the comments section.

Horn and Russell have long maintained close relationships with their children and grandchildren.
“I don’t know who I would be without my mother. I can’t even fathom it,” Oliver previously gushed on a 2024 episode of his and Kate’s “Brother Bash” podcast. “My love, respect and reverence for her is beyond anything.”
Months later, Oliver detailed his dynamic with Kurt.
“Kurt came into my life when I was five or six years old, and he basically raised me. I’m who I am today because of him, right?” Oliver recalled during a November 2024 episode of the podcast. “There was a moment where he asked us, myself and Kate, if we wanted to be adopted, and we said no. … I don’t remember the age, but we just said, ‘Well, we don’t need it. The love is there.'”
This love naturally continues to the next generation.
