One streaming service officially trumps any other this Halloween season

I’m a huge fan of Halloween, and whenever October rolls around, I spend the entire spooky month watching Halloween episodes of my favorite sitcoms. However, it can be difficult to discover which shows are Halloween-centric, let alone find which platform they’re streaming on. Here’s why Hulu is my favorite streamer this time of year: It saves all my trick-or-treating sitcom episodes in an easily accessible “Hulaween” section.
There is no shill who can die
First of all, you should know that this is not a paid post, I feel like it makes me sound like a Hulu fan, which is kind of silly. But as a lifelong Halloween enthusiast, I love being able to quickly sift through some of the greatest Halloween episodes of all time. Hulu doesn’t let you sift through countless seasons of episodes, either: Instead, you just click on the holiday episodes and dive straight into some serious streaming shenanigans.
If this sounds basic, that’s because This is. There’s no reason why special holiday episodes that spotlight TV shows at the right time of year shouldn’t be a standard feature on every major streamer. However, as far as major streamers go, Hulu is the only one that doesn’t turn the Halloween part into a half-baked horror part.
Outperform the competition
Netflix, for example, has a section cheekily titled “ Netflix & Chills ,” which features a variety of Halloween-friendly streaming options. Although there are some good TV shows in it (I particularly like Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), it’s annoying that the streamer only plays shows that are designed to be scary. If you just want to watch, like, the Halloween episode dawson creek (Trust me: it’s a good show), you still need to know which episode to look for and pull it out manually external Netflix and Chills section.
The same goes for Prime Video’s Celebrate Fear section, which offers a variety of horror shows and movies that viewers can watch, buy, or rent. While the horror shows are fun, once again there is no Halloween option to jump straight into various sitcoms. So if you want to check out an extremely fun Halloween episode schitt’s creekyou have to look up which episode it is and then wade through it to pull it out.
Holiday Sitcom Streaming: Easy Mode
Look: I’m well aware that this is a real first-world problem, and doing a few quick Google searches before searching for a specific episode isn’t a big deal to me. But I know for a fact I’m not the only one who enjoys watching old-school sitcom episodes themed around their favorite holidays. Hulu isn’t stopping at Halloween: next month (assuming they follow the pattern of previous years), they’ll have a variety of Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes to get you in the mood for the holidays.
Although this is a big kiss for an article, Hulu isn’t my favorite streamer: outside of TV shows, the selection is hit or miss, and I hate the childish look of the slider toggles. But I am a Halloween fanatic and this streamer is the only one that allows me to relive holiday episodes of classic shows like buffy the vampire slayer Just click a button. That means it’s official: Hulu is indeed the best streaming service for Halloween fans!
