Postal wrongly asks Kenyan cabinet secretary to participate in helicopter crash
According to an April 2025 report, an engine failure caused the helicopter crash to kill a former Kenya Defense Force chief a year ago. A few days before the report was released, a Tiktok post shared a video claiming that the country’s health cabinet secretary and avant-garde minister Aden Duale was involved in a chopping car accident in the Kenyan coastal town of Malindi. But the claim is wrong; the video shows a light training aircraft that crashed along the highway in Malindi-Mombasa early in the year. There is no report on Duale’s involvement in the accident, and he is still performing ministerial duties.

The clip, shared 499 times, includes images from Duale and videos marked “2025”, showing the wreckage of an aircraft surrounded by onlookers.
