Season W is officially in progress.
With training camp just beginning, Wings fans are already preparing to look one of their most exciting seasons in a while, especially in the backcourts of the Paige Bueckers and Arike Ogunbowale.
The duo has a new nickname for Wings fans: Parike. With excitement surrounding their new backcourt, news reporter Dorothy J. Gentry has a new nickname:
“It’s cool, obviously Arike has built,” Bueckers said. “It’s a big blessing to be on the same team with her and share the floor with her.”
“I’m so glad Dallas was able to get her. She’s an amazing player and she’s really mature, so she’ll come in and make a big difference.”
As training camp continues, fans will want to see how their backcourt (including dynamic scorers in PB, and one of the most popular shooters in Arike – builds chemistry and works with the entire team to help redefine this new era of basketball.
Expectations are high, but there are new additions and new head coaches Chris Koclanes Lead the helmsman, the future looks bright.
