Dallas Star has been appointed Toby Peterson As head coach of a member of the American Hockey League, Texas star.
Peterson succeeded Neil GrahamAppointed as assistant coach last week Glen GulutzanDallas staff.
Peterson returned to the Stars, where he spent seven of the final seven seasons of the 2007-14 annual tournament. He won a 14-year career with Texas’ Calder Cup champion in 2014, including 550 AHL games with Texas, Iowa, Edmonton and Wilkes Barre/Scranton. Petersen was an AHL All-Star in 2001 and 2008 and was a member of the AHL All-Rookie team in 2000-01.
After Peterson retired, Peterson served as assistant coach for Columbus AHL branches at Springfield (2014-15) and Cleveland (2015-17), helping Monsters win the Calder Cup in 2016. He was also an assistant to the Rochester Americans from 2017 to 20, and spent his last two seasons between 2017 and 20, and spent two seasons in Colordo avalandandancandane.

Petersen is a native of Bloomington, Minnesota, drafted by Pittsburgh in 1998 and skated with the Penguins, the Oilers and the Stars in 398 NHL games.
