Philips Hue Self-Leaks’ upcoming smart doorbell, sadly it won’t change color

Like previous surveillance cameras, Philips Hue’s next smart home product won’t change colors or brighten the decline of smart home technology. Instead, the upcoming smart doorbell with rings looks a little red in its hue safety products after the company oozes out. Based on our clear knowledge of Philips Hue’s upcoming doorbell, it may be relatively good and may always require strength connections.
A Philips Tone user found that the company listed a “Security Doorbell” product under its “No QR Code” menu, which you cannot connect without establishing a Bluetooth and WiFi connection. Smart Home Blog Hueblog writers share screenshots of the so-called device and its connection requirements. Philips Hue’s latest assumed safety products look very standard, with cameras on the top and doorbell controls on the bottom.
Unfortunately, these images don’t know much about the specs of the doorbell, especially the size of its camera sensor. Most doorbell cameras from brands like winking and rings offer 1080p porch video. Both camera settings also fail to perform motion detection, and the Philips Hue is already built into its hue security camera and outdoor spotlights.
There is also a possibility that there is no option for battery operation. Leaks indicate that the product needs to be “correctly wired” to gain power. In this case, the user will need to physically connect it to their home. Gizmodo contacted Philips Hue for comment, but we didn’t hear it right away.
At least it’s cheaper than a doorbell with a battery. Ring’s battery-type doorbell costs twice as much as a battery that is only connected. But it also means that Philips Hue’s model is useless to anyone living in a rental property or an older home without a wired connection.
I just hope Philips Hue will do something different in its outdoor security suite. Judging from the leak, this fixed design iteration is not too exciting. Why not be weird about it? Why not a doorbell with light, just as excited as a deliveryman when he drops another package. I said, make our porch look as fun as the living room.
