8 Angry customer injured after hitting Ingwood auto dealership 8

Police said eight people were injured Saturday afternoon and a disgruntled customer drove the vehicle to the showroom of a car dealership in Inglewood.

The crash occurred after 2 p.m. in Carmax, 8600 block of South Lasiniga Avenue. Authorities said the man was involved in the dealer’s dispute in advance.

Of the eight injured, two were taken to the injured trauma center. The company statement said customers and Carmax employees were hit.

Police said no deaths.

Video of the incident posted on social media shows a crashed car pouring into the showroom while people scatter and yell to avoid it. Then, the car drove over the other side of the dealer.

Before the incident, an employee who bought a car at a dealership said he saw customers yelling at employees and they tried to calm him down. The customer waved a metal water bottle and ran outside and jumped to the roof of the car. The Times employee and his wife became uncomfortable and left.

According to the Ingwood Police Police Department, after the suspect walked through the showroom, he fled the scene and drove to the nearby Los Angeles Police Department recruit training center, where he handed himself in. Cesar Jurado.

“The safety of our employees, communities and customers is our top priority,” Carmax said in a statement, adding that the company is working with law enforcement to investigate. “We are very sad about this incident and our hearts do our best to all those affected.”
