Pret A Manger, a food and coffee shop chain, has launched a dining location in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
The Millennium Phoenix Mall’s 989ft² offers a full-service store that offers Pret’s signature handmade food for a dining experience.
Pano Christou, CEO of Pret Manger, said: “India has reimagined Pret in a way we have never seen it. The country’s rich dining tradition inspired us to introduce our first full-service concept – a kind of high-quality food that brings people together to serve on their tables.
“We are committed to bringing our iconic Prep experience to more customers, bringing global tastes with local tastes to make people familiar and new.”
PRET A has expanded rapidly in India, and the brand has already established operations on Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi NCR.
Founded in London in 1986, Pret A Manger has nearly 700 locations worldwide, in Belgium, Dubai, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United Kingdom and the United States.
In June 2022, Pret A Manger partnered with Reliance Brands Limited, a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, to launch and establish the PRET brand in India.
The first store of the partnership opened in Mumbai in April 2023.
Supporting its global expansion, Pret A Manger began working with YOOBIC, a provider of digital workplace solutions, in September 2024.
The partnership aims to enhance support for PRET’s front-line team and streamline operations as the brand grows internationally.
