University officials found that Dixon posed a threat or violated university policies “without a basis.”

Dwayne Dixon, a professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, resumed Vice President of Communications and Marketing on Friday after conducting a “thorough threat assessment.”
Dixon took a leave Monday after accusing him of being an advocate of political violence.
“The Carolina’s Conduct Threat Assessment and Management Team consulted with the UNC System Security Office and local law enforcement to conduct a powerful, swift and effective review of all evidence. We found no basis to conclude that he poses a threat to college students, faculty and staff, or engages in violation of university policies,” Stoyer said in a statement. “The university is therefore restoring Professor Dickson’s duties and taking effect immediately.”
Dixon, an associate professor of teaching in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at UNC Chapel Hill, has been active in the Alt-Right Rallies counterattack, including in 2017 at Unite Rally Rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. The country people revolt. The turning point of the late Charlie Kirk, spokesman for the United States Andrew Kolvet called on Dixon to be fired for these connections.
