“Psychologically Destroyed” – The plaintiff’s attorney in Danny Alves case responds to acquittal

On Friday, the Spanish Supreme Court released Dani Alves’ rape conviction, insisting on appeals from former Barcelona and Sevilla players a year ago. Alves was convicted in February 2024 and was originally scheduled to be 4.5 years and has been detained for 14 months since handing it over to himself.

On the other hand, the plaintiff’s attorney Ester Garcia in the case pointed out that her client was frustrated by the resolution.

“In terms of law, we have to appeal the ruling. It has to be taken into account the emotional state of the client and is psychologically destroyed. It has been two years of hell for her,” she told the Catalan Daily.
