Pyrite fire broke out in the inland empire, forcing evacuation

A brush fire was lit near the Yurupa Valley on Friday night, prompting the nearby Jurupa Mountain and Sannispo communities to evacuate orders.
According to the California Forestry and Fire Riverside Department, 15 acres of vegetation fires were reportedly burned in “floating fuel” near Iron Mining Street and granite hills, according to the California Forestry and Fire Riverside Department.
The fire had grown to 200 acres by 8 p.m., and leading authorities expanded evacuation warnings as artisan crew members and a fire helicopter worked to strike the flames. Here you can view a map of the affected areas.
