Qatar calls for retaliation against Israel to strike
Kathari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman al-Thani vowed on Tuesday to retaliate against Israel to remove Hamas’ strike in Doha’s political leadership.
“Qatar State is committed to any objective of deciding its territory and retaining the right to retaliation and will take all necessary measures to retaliate for anything,” Al-Thani said in a press conference on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Kathari said his minister of state will convene a meeting at a meeting on Wednesday, “reviewing all policies and directives to prevent future actions and measures from happening again.”
Al-Thani called Israel’s strike against Doha “state terrorism” and targeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“I think we have reached a decisive moment. Faced with those barbaric behaviors that reflect only one thing, revenge should be taken from the entire region: it reflects the barbaric behavior of this person, unfortunately, unfortunately, the barbaric behavior in the region cannot solve any situation, we cannot fix anything, and we cannot violate all international law within the framework of international legality.
Israel escalated the war against Hamas on Tuesday by launching an assassination strike against Hamas in Qatar. The move appears to end any efforts to release hostages through negotiations, which took place with the help of Qatar and the leaders.
Even as Qatar vowed to retaliate, the country insisted that it would not abandon its role as a mediator in many regional negotiations.
“Mediation and Qatari diplomacy are part of its identity and it will continue and nothing will stop us from sticking to this role on various issues around the region to achieve stability in the region and ultimately reach the stability of our people,” Al-Thani said on Tuesday.
