R-rated modern horror comedy is an instant classic that everyone misses

As a gamer for life, I learned to be afraid of these five words when I used it to describe a movie: “Video Games Based”. At best, you usually get something interesting, but obviously for kids (like animations Super Mario Bros. Movie); in the worst case you end up with something that fails with movies and game adaptations (like real people Super Mario Bros. Movie). Fortunately, Inside werewolf It’s both an almost perfect horror comedy and an almost perfect game adaptation.
premise Inside werewolf (loosely based on the video game of the same name) is a newly assigned forest ranger to a quiet town who wants to settle down and get to know all the weird residents. When the town starts to die, he must lead the charges to find out who was the murderer among them, and it was too late afterwards. It is becoming increasingly clear that this threat is not very human, and the whole town will be like a werewolf plate unless the Ranger finds the right person to trust.
Although the actors are talented (more on this soon), the real reason Inside werewolf Very nicely, it was directed by Josh Ruben Scared me (Personal Favorite), Recently Heart-eyed. Reuben has established himself as a true triple threat (he wrote, directed and starred in Scared me) He is the main rising star in the horror world. He’s not John Carpenter (at least not yet), but if you like horror movies, Ruben is the name you can always rely on.

Vayntrub is still known for her role in several iconic AT&T ads, but she plays Squirrel Girls in the MCU within the breadth of hair. She’s so effortlessly great here that every time I re-watch it (often), I’m increasingly convinced that Marvel misses out on miracles because they don’t have the shock of this squirrel in their cinematic universe.
Overall, the actors bring a movie to life, alternating between comforts (boy, I want to stay in that cabin for a few nights!) and creepy (the movie is really horrible when the fur starts flying). Characters have excellent chemistry with each other and create great resonance that you can watch. Trust me: If you are not obsessed Inside werewolf When you start dancing with the beat of a vintage jukebox to Vayntub, you may want to check your own pulses.
People do crazy things in the full moon (including critics). Although horror often closes professional reviewers, Inside werewolf On rotten tomatoes, the paws hit a key score of 86%. Critics praised the film as a horror comedy, filled with laughter in serious fear. That’s my favorite movie, and there’s no Inside werewolf To be one of my favorite comfort food movies, whenever I need to enjoy some bloody punching thread.
