Rain makes the route unplayable, lpga’s Sunday is uncertain

Rogers, Arkansas – Heavy rain and dangerous weather caused the LPGA Tour to close the second round on Saturday of the Arkansas champion in northwestern Walmart until everyone started, which led to uncertainty about the event being done.
The shortest game on the schedule is already 54 holes – the player may stay all day or wait for more.
Due to the rain, no one completed more than three holes. LPGA said if the Pinnacle Country Club is available to play, it will decide on Sunday morning and then the second round will resume at 7:10 a.m. CDT.
Sarah Schmelzel and Minami Katsu tied for the lead by 8 under par. Alison Lee had a birdie in his third game since returning from having a son in late April and joined the birdie under the age of 8 before the game stopped.
LPGA said it will determine if the game is 36 holes before the second round resumes, or try to enter all 54 holes. LPGA is closed next week.
Stacy Lewis scored in the inaugural Championship when he became an amateur in 2007, but the rain cut to 18 holes, which is not considered formal.
