Rating Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson.

welcome! Where are you asking? I called this on weekend 9. Think of it as a place to heat you on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will have ideas. We will have tips. We will have tweets. But overall, although sometimes more, sometimes even less. As for who I am? The following paragraph tells some stories. I can get in touch nick.piastowski@golf.com.
Keegan Bradley said at his captain’s draft press conference Wednesday that there were about 10,000 statements on the transcript and four shocked me. He paused before talking about them. After talking about them, he smiled.
“I’m so glad it’s over.”

Is he serious? Or is he very humorous? Does he like to select six Americans at Bethpage Black for next month’s Ryder Cup? Or does he hate telling other compatriots that they are not short? In this case, everything is probably right. Here is: In fact, the decision has ended, which begs another question:
How is he?
For me, Wednesday covered three topics. Let’s try to rate them.
Keegan Bradley didn’t choose Keegan Bradley
According to Bradley, why “I wanted to play the Ryder Cup since I was a kid. I wanted to fight these guys when I grew up. It’s really my heart doesn’t play. It does. You do these teams forever, but in the end I was chosen to do a job. I was chosen to be the captain of this team, and that’s my ultimate goal. My ultimate goal is how I feel. I’m going to do better, and I’m going to do what I think is the best for this team.
grade: Let’s call that decision b plus. Here are the other options:
Keegan Bradley is robbed of his Ryder Cup dream. He built a new one
go through:
Dylan Dethier
– He could have picked himself and continued to be the captain. This was originally B. His vice captain will likely step up. But focusing on your own game can suffer losses. Again, as Golf’s Sean Zak wrote earlier this week, watching Keegan Bradley as captain, it would be a great theater.
– He could have chosen himself and delegated all the captain’s responsibilities to the deputy captain. This was originally A. It reduces focus. You are still the captain, despite the individual name.
– He could have refused to be Captain America’s PGA. This is also B, although obviously it must have been decided last year. Although the opportunity to lead Americans is very special, it also pauses dreams. Here I will point to the story of Dylan Dethier of Golf: “Keegan Bradley was robbed of his Ryder Cup dream. He built a new one,” which can be read here.
– Finally, he chose Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Ben Griffin, Cameron Young, Patrick Cantlay and Sam Burns. I like the idea that motivates them like this, their idea is: If he chooses myself, I have to deliver. This is a safe game. In golf, this kind of thing can be appreciated.
The question is, who did Bradley drop from the players he chose? You can argue anyone other than Thomas, although it’s tough. Will Bradley choose himself over Morikawa or Cantlay that he didn’t win this year? Maybe, but Morikawa is also one of the best ball hitters on the planet, Cantlay is 5-2-1 in two Ryder Cup appearances (10-4 in the three Presidents Cups). Did Bradley choose himself over Griffin or Young, both new immigrants to the Ryder Cup? Maybe, but Griffin also won two championships this year, and Young has been one of the hottest players in golf in the past month. Where is the burn? I think Bradley’s choice is here, he got the game with the PGA Tour leader this season: putters.
Keegan Bradley also didn’t choose Maverick McNealy, Chris Gotterup, etc.
When asked about McNeale, Bradley said: “It’s very, very difficult to call the ladies. Incredible kids, great all year round. I’m very ahead of the way with guys who haven’t teamed before. In most cases, you really have to make a team a team on the points of the first team. It’s really hard to get a draft pick in your first team. I know it very well for him and he’s still doing well. He’s still doing well.
I played with him many times this year. I was impressed by his game. I told him he could be angry. I left these calls for most of the time I was really angry. You can use it as fuel. I said, please be angry with me and be the next team. Production [the] Presidents Cup team. I used it for most of my career and suggested that Mav do the same. He did a great job of building this team, and it was a very difficult decision in the end. ”
The highest ranking US Ryder Cup cooldown? Keegan Bradley gives him advice
go through:
Nick Pistowski
grade: B-Plus, given his choice. I think McNealy, Gotterup and Andrew Novak can get Ryder Cup’s team game on the way, but the six players selected are solid.
I do wonder, though, what would it be like if Brooks Koepka, Jordan Spieth, Will Zalatoris, Max Homa, Patrick Reed, Tony Finau and Sahith Theegala were in the top 25 in the scoring.
Keegan Bradley
According to Bradley, why “Yes, so you want to look at the data, look at the team, it’s very important that you look at a good start, and most home teams will replace shots first, a more difficult format. But we’re with Captain Vice and the Scouts, our analytics team, our analytics team, and all your data, in the last home, you’re in all ranges, what you’re in all ranges, what they’re in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges, what you’re going to do in all ranges. A very simple decision, and that’s what we’re coming up with.”
grade: B. Bradley sounds confident here. The crowd can speak out very early and late, so this will help to survive the “harder format” in the beginning and stay motivated in the afternoon. But if experienced Europe can withstand early cheers during the four-player (alternative shooting), then there may be doubts.
Of course, there are more decisions coming soon – Weekend 9 (or more) Item 9.
A week’s harvest
2. Phil Mickelson may be the captain, and if he doesn’t join Liv Golf, he likes Bradley’s decision, you can see below.
Keegan did a great job today, as elegant as the king. He leads by example and shows why he is a great choice to lead this team. https://t.co/rwf8iqeisp

Another gain of the week
3. For those interested in these things, according to Fanatics Sportsbook, Americans are listed on the Minus-140 to win the Ryder Cup – while the euro is +130.
My interesting golf story from this week
4. Did Young ruin the news of Bradley’s player captain’s decision?
Host Julius Mason asked several questions to each player Wednesday after announcing the draft pick for each captain. After Young, he talked to Young, and this is the fourth draft pick to be named:
Mason asked: “Cam, one of your goals this year is to have the Ryder Cup teams formed, and if you do that, it’s more important for you than winning the golf tournament. Why is it so important to have you form this team, and any of your team members know you’re the Scotland team winning the 2014 U.S. Junior Ryder Cup?”
Young Start: “Yes, I think one of them might remember in particular. I know Sam was with me on that team. It’s an interesting memory.”
Sam? By then, only Thomas, Morikava and Griffin were named – without Samus, which seemed to be a reference to Burns. So when Cantlay was declared a draft pick after his youth, one could think Burns was the last choice – Bradley wouldn’t choose himself.
A harvest from the weekend
5. I love this exchange between Jeeno Thitikul and reporters and ahead of this week’s FM Championship, as well as the italics of reporters:
Will the number one player in the world feel any difference between inside or outside the rope?
“Like I said before, I think I am the same person,” Thitikul from Thailand said. “It’s just a number – golf, rankings, statistics, they just built it. But I think – I just said to the media people who were walking around with me today, like I think I’m not good. I think I’m not very good.
“What is he just talking about? I just thought, I think, especially on the numbers, that I have to be outside the ropes, too.”
Does this mean you are surprised by the victory when you say you are not very good?
“Everything survived on LPGA. I was like a lot of players became talented and then I just- I swear, I thought about winning games when I was young, and only one game on LPGA was enough for me.
“But to hear where I am now, I don’t know how I got it.”
