RHOC’s Gina Kirschenheiter Celebrates 5 Years Sober: ‘Zero Regrets’

“January marks five years of sobriety for me. This has been one of the most positive transitions I’ve ever made for myself,” Kirschenheiter, 41, wrote on Instagram on Sunday, December 28. “I have zero regrets. I totally encourage anyone who feels like something is holding them back to stop drinking. Make 2026 your year. ❤️ #alcoholfreelife #alcoholfree #sobriety #newyears Resolution.”
Alongside the message, Kirschenheiter also shared a series of photos of herself set against the backdrop of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Making the Bed.”
The video reads “Annual Reminder…”. “If you don’t like the trajectory you’re in…if you don’t recognize the person you see in the mirror, if you feel like there’s something blocking your way…preventing you from being the person you’re supposed to be…the real you…those things that control you more than you are will cause you to make bad decisions and limit your full potential, those things will take away from you what you want out of life…if you want more…then change it.”
She continued, “Eliminate those things and get out of your own way. This year, become who you are meant to be. Because you can… go for it.”
Kirschenheiter received support from several stars in the comments section.

Last year, Kershenheiter opened up about her decision to quit drinking.
“Honestly, the biggest tip and lifestyle change for me was three years of sobriety and three years of no drinking,” Kirschenheiter said exclusively US Weekly at the simpsons right ventricle Reunion Watch Party in November 2024. “This has been the most incredible change, transformation, and edit I’ve ever made in my life. I totally recommend it to everyone.”
Kerschenheiter explained that she “feels good” about her decision to stop drinking.
“Because I feel how I feel and how much positivity has filled my life since I decided to stop drinking,” Kirshenheit said. “I’d love to share that with other people and just say, ‘Listen, if you’re thinking about quitting drinking, go ahead and do it. It’s really going to change your life for the better in every way.'”
“It turns out that when you stop poisoning yourself, good things happen,” she continued. “Honestly, the biggest thing it did was it made me have to deal with some things that I thought I was avoiding. And then the sheer toxicity that I put into my body was a huge editorial shift, and then dealing with all the trauma that I was trying to avoid. The combination of those two things changed my life.”
