RHOC’s Katie Ginella defends ‘really great’ friendship with Tamra Judge

Katie Ginella So grateful to have found unexpected friendships judge tamra.

“We never really hated each other. We had some fights, but really, if you look back, we never really had a fight,” Katie, 41, exclusively shared. US Weekly Hosting a real housewives of orange county Reunion Watch Party on Thursday, November 6th. “We always respected each other even though we weren’t close.”

Looking back, Katie believes her relationship with Jennifer Pedranti may have prevented her from getting close to 58-year-old Tamra.

“We really started to get to know each other when Jennifer was kind of out of the picture, and I’m so grateful that she came back and said, ‘I want to hear your perspective,'” Katie explained. “This is great. No one wants to hear my point of view.”

In Season 19 of the Bravo reality show, Katie failed Emily Simpson. Many actors questioned whether they could trust Katie and said they didn’t want to film with her.

According to Katie, Tamra reached out to the cast long before the show aired, and the cast received feedback from viewers.

“A lot of doubters said we were just friends because they read the comments. But Tamra actually came to me in the middle of the season when she wouldn’t have seen any comments,” Katie explained in a Nadine Merabi dress. “I think she often feels like a loser and she sees me being crushed and kind of feels bad for me. I think she feels bad for what’s going on between the two of us and we talk every day, so it’s really nice.”

The first part of the Season 19 reunion kicked off Thursday night on Bravo. Katie and Tamra invited fans of the show to a watch party at the Even House in Tustin, California. including special guests Joe De La Rosa, Alexis Bellino and Mike Shea Serve as DJ.

Before taping the reunion, Katie explained that she “wanted to get some apology” and “clarify some things because I was kind of silenced.”

“I was hopeful for a few girls, but I think most of the apologies I got were just damage control,” Katie explained. “I don’t think they’re real.”

When part two airs on Thursday, November 13, Katie’s husband, Matt Ginellawill sit on the couch with the ladies.

According to Katie, Gretchen Rossi Jennifer’s partners were also invited to attend. However, both Slade smiley and Ryan Boyajian refused.

Gretchen, 47, previously said us At the 2025 Masters Awards, Slade, 52, declined because “he said, ‘I don’t want to do this. Why do I continue to put myself in a situation where you guys are saying I want to be a part of this? I really don’t want to be a part of this.'”

When Matt received the invitation to attend the recording Andy CohenKatie said he had a mixed reaction.

“Matt said, ‘I’m fucking here because I didn’t lie, and I showed up to prove it. They were too scared to show up,'” Katie recalled. “So here comes Matt.”

Although there is still more drama to unfold in season 19, fans are already curious about what season 20 will be like. For now, Katie is open to whatever happens.

“I went into the party thinking I had nothing to lose this year,” she said. “If they don’t ask me to come back, they don’t want me, and that’s okay. I feel like I’ve said it, and I’m done. I would love to come back and prove to these ladies that I deserve a spot just as much as they do.”
