Roberto Orci, a writer for Star Trek, Transformers and others, passed away

Roberto Orci, one of the most prolific and successful Hollywood writers and producers in recent memory, died Tuesday from kidney failure. He is 51 years old.

Orci is known for its collaborations with writer and creator Alex Kurtzman. The two wrote and produced many large number of hit songs, such as Mission: Impossible III, Star Trek, Transformers, Amazing Spider-Man 2, And more.
