Roberts: Ohtani’s chance to pitch before the All-Star break is “North of Zero”

Shohei Ohtani Today, he performed his third live show for the batsman, as Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times Relay race performed so well at 44 courses in three simulation jobs that Dodgers manager Dave Roberts even admitted that the group hasn’t completely ruled out Ohtani’s idea, and the Ohtani concept returned to earth faster than previously expected. The expectation in recent weeks is that at some point after the All-Star break, Ohtani will be held from July 14 to July 17 this year. However, today, Harris pointed out that Roberts pointed out to reporters that there is a “North of Zero” Ohtani has an opportunity to compete in Major League Baseball before the break.

Even if Roberts’ wording hardly constitutes the return rate of the Midsummer Classic, it’s a significant update on Ohtani’s timeline that soon after Dodgers officials paused his pitching recovery in late February, Dodgers officials began to grow bigger and bigger. Before this pause, it was believed that the Dodgers were aiming to return to pitch sometime in May, but the timeline was pushed back to the second half after the club began to slow down his recovery process. Roberts and team officials have begun pointing out the All-Star breakout in recent weeks, which is Ohtani’s point of pitching for the Dodgers in major league games.

His possibility of publicly acknowledging before this highlights his recovery has been doing well, but it can also be acknowledged the huge demand for the Dodgers in terms of rotation. The Dodgers are currently doing well on paper with a record of 40-27, but have not completely failed the high expectations of dominating the World Series champion before the season began. They only have 1.5 games with the Giants in NL West, and if the season ends, they complete the game in the Cubs’ guard halftime through the wildcard round in the playoffs.

The problem with starting pitching is the biggest thing that makes the Dodgers exit the rest of the league this year, as their rotation of 4.66 FIP is worse than every NL club, except for the low Rockies. IL currently has eight starting pitchers, and Ohtani is also in the situation, Los Angeles is currently running the patchwork rotation feature Yoshinobu Yamamoto,,,,, Dustin may,,,,, Clayton Kershawand Justin Wrobleski. Yamamoto participated in NL Cy Young’s conversation this year, but Kershaw, especially this year’s game is more of a trans veteran than the previous season. In Ohtani’s electric arm, almost all baseballs will spin better, but the form of the Dodgers’ pitchers may make them particularly eager to get Ohtani back to the fold.

Of course, that’s not to say they’re about their two-way superstar rush and then they’re full of confidence. The Dodgers easily made Ohtani in at least some capacity during last year’s playoff run, when the pitchers lowered a lot of starters who had to play regular bullpen games throughout the playoffs. However, they chose not to do so, however, prioritize ensuring Ohtani is fully healthy and ready to resume pitching before risking him in the major league game again. Even with Roberts’ comments today, there is no reason to think that the Dodgers will send Ohtani to the mound of Dodger Stadium before the break unless they are completely confident that he is ready to resume pitching at a high level.
