Rupaul’s Drag Race Lexi Love enters drug abuse recovery

According to her manager and friends, the Season 17 finalist, 34, has conducted a 30-day rehabilitation program in a Texas rehabilitation program. TJ Liedelwho has to do with Weekly entertainment Saturday, May 10.
Liedel shared that past trauma has led to Lexi’s recent drug abuse problem. When Luxy talks about her meth addiction that has struggled with her season Rupaul’s resistance raceher manager added that although her goal is totally sober, methamphetamine is not a factor that resists artists’ current treatment. After the first month of treatment, she can enter another 30-day plan.
Lidell told EW. “We are very proud of the courage she has to face publicly and be a representative of many in the community.”
Liddle continued: “Unfortunately, people demonize these things, but the only way we can understand it better is to openly, share the story, and actively work towards healthier, happier times. We appreciate all the support. Knowing Lexi’s support for them, she will be back soon, she will be back soon. We love you.”

“For all the curious cats…” she wrote. “I am brave enough to accept my spirit, [physical] Emotional health is the first time ever. I’m recovering and will walk for a while. It’s better for everyone to prepare for what’s coming. ”
She concluded: “I love you; even the haters.”
Lexi tied for third place in the Season 17 finale with Sam Star Resistance Race. She posted a heartfelt post on Instagram on April 21, where she wrote: “I know I put a lot of weight and pressure on the success of this ending, which is my goal, which is my goal because it stands out from methamphetamine in 2015; what I found is that even if I may not have a champion at this moment, my real success is not the destination!”
She added: “It seems to me that I’m still on the road….. I’m going to focus on obsessing with the destination.”
A few days later, on April 27, Lexi announced through X that she would take a break to focus on her mental health.
“I am taking a step back to develop my physical and mental health,” she wrote at the time. “It’s time to change my relationship with the destroyer within – understand it, disarm and fully step into my strength.”
She added: “When I return, I’m ready to welcome the world – bigger, better, stronger than ever. For those who doubt me – thank you for reminding me that resilience is a choice, and I choose to rise.”
