The police statement said the British police accused actor Comedian Russell Brand of rape and made many charges between 1999 and 2005, which were related to many charges.
Brand, 50, is the former husband of American pop singer Katy Perry, once one of the most eye-catching comedians and broadcasters in the UK, and has been an internet social commentator in recent years.
Police say Brand, who lives in Oxfordshire, southern England, is charged with one count of rape, one count of indecent assault, one count of verbal rape and two counts of sexual assault, which are linked to four independent women.
“this [police] Investigations remain open, and detectives asked anyone affected by the case, or anyone with any information, to step up and talk to the police. ” said the statement.
